My latest trip around the planet has been to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. While I wasnt permitted to take too many pictures, this was perhaps the most thought provoking journey Ive ever had. Its a wake up call for any American. I truely believe that while the scenes below depict images of a progressive westernized Arab culture, there is still plenty of centuries old theocracy at work. We should value our seperation of Church and State, because the alternative isnt quite as pleasant as many might think.
