"weather-drew" (noun):
A nickname used by a computer systems administrator and engineer living in Oklahoma who works in the weather industry. He does not make donuts.

Projects

I'm currently involved in several projects, both web related and some projects that have nothing to do with a keyboard. Below I've listed a few of the more recent efforts I've undertaken.

Simuawips

Simuawips is a weather website I started many years ago. The goal was to recreate the AWIPS interface used by the National Weather Service for analysis and forecasting of weather. The project went thru several revisions initially and is currently in it's fifth release state. It continues to grow both in capabilities and in the variety of unique data it offers.

World Wide Spaces

Another project I'm very excited about actually has nothing to do with meteorology at all. The World Wide Spaces project is a real-estate website I am working with my girlfriend and her family. The site's aim is to provide a simple and comfortable one stop resource for browsing home and land listings in Oklahoma and eventually the entire country.
